Ottawa-Carleton District School Board Are Cancelled Today

March 24, 2016

The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA) has cancelled all buses serving students in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board today, Thursday, March 24, 2016. 

The buses are not operating due to impending, inclement weather which could result in poor road conditions.

All district-wide sporting events are also cancelled.

Schools do remain open.   

If parents or guardians choose to send their children to school, who are normally transported by OSTA vehicles - they will be responsible for the students' transportation to and from school.

Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at their regularly scheduled bell times.

Once again, all school buses serving the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board are cancelled today as well as all district-wide sporting events.

‘Bring Spring’ Family Fun Dance

WAPS School Council presents our first annual 'Bring Spring' Family Fun Dance. This fun event open to all Woodroffe students and their families will be held in the school gym on Friday March 4th from 6:30-8:30pm. Bring a non-perishable food item or $2 per person (max. $10 per family).

This is more than just a dance – it will also include a concession stand, glow sticks and a cake decorating contest and auction! Take a look at the flyer for more information.
